Corsair

The builder of this model passed away. It is a beautiful model, show quality, and has been expertly built. It is covered with Monokote and the builder added ALL the panel lines. He did an excellent job. The cockpit is scale with all the switches, levers, and a scale gun sight on the dash. The model is built nearly perfect and there isn't much else to say. It doesn't appear to have flown yet. Futaba ball bearing servos are installed on everything including flaps. Robart rotating retracts are installed and work perfectly. The air tank is accessible through the wheel wells for maintenance. It also has scale Robart wheels. The engine is a new OS 61 FX with a pitts style muffler. It appears he didn't quite finish the muffler/engine installation yet. The model weighs 8.5 pounds without a receiver or battery. It has a 61.5" wingspan. It could be the topflight kit but I'm not sure.

above: that is a reflection from the sun on the gull of the wing, not a flaw
